about
Recorded at Critical Recording Studios in Miami!
This is the only recording that documents Blood Brother's earliest incorporation of electronic percussion! In fact, the instrumentation is an acoustic bass drum, and a cello banjo with drum triggers mounted under the banjo head! A drum trigger was also attached to the acoustic cymbal. The cello banjo strings were also run through an Egnater Rebel 2X12 combo amp for a very cool sound.
Blood Brother played 2 shows with this configuration before moving to the Tablatar for all subsequent performances.
lyrics
The room is dim
The candle glows
But there's no one here
That I can show
This magic to
Wait I do
I am here for you
The fountain of youth
Is in my blood
Clean and free
I should feel, but
I'm all alone
No one's home
Love will choose to roam
A happy pill
Was in my hand
I swallowed hard
And then I ran
I turned around
To not a sound
Waves began to pound
